La ejecución de una obra se desenvuelve en un magnífico caos material y humano. Una actividad frenética y solo aparentemente desordenada que de forma sorprendente confluye en un objetivo común. Como si un múltiple happening de Josep Beuys se tratara, en un espacio acotado se suceden una serie de acciones que transforman los materiales sobre los que se trabaja. Aparecen los restos, las huellas que fijan definitivamente la acción en la memoria de las cosas.
La alquimia pretendía lograr la transmutación de la materia, otorgarle un nuevo valor, pero detrás de esta intención se ocultaba una imperiosa necesidad de conocer los principios últimos de la vida. La construcción busca transformar la sustancia y la experiencia de las cosas. La obra aspira a tener una voz propia, facultad humana que atribuida a las cosas indica un anhelo de pensar un mundo animado, dotado de anima, de un alma que reclama nuestra atención. La arquitectura debería lograr abrir un espacio de silencio en el que poder escuchar la voz callada de las cosas.
The execution of this work unfolds in a magnificent human and material chaos. A frantic activity only apparently disordered surprisingly joins in a common goal. As if it was one of Josep Beuys’ multiple happening, in a limited space a series of actions that transform materials on which works succeed. These remains, traces which settle definitively the action in memory of things appear.
Alchemy intended to achieve the transmutation of matter, give it a new value, but behind this intention an urgent need to learn about the latest principles of life hided. The building seeks to transform the substance and experience of things. The work aims to have its own voice, to reveal truthfully, human faculties applied to things that show a desire to think of an animated world, equipped with anima, of a soul that demands our attention. Architecture should achieve open a space of silence in which to listen to the quiet voice of things.
